Old Bowmore circa 1910
I hope this photograph is visible to others. I posted it to the Old Islay group on Facebook.
Many people said it helped them think of where their ancestors had walked.

Hi there
I tried to upload a photo - failed! Then I tried to e-mail Diane - I can't see your e-mail address. There is a list of 6 people in the member directory.
Thoughts?

Re: Roll Call ?
The McArthurs are my stumbling block.
I am stuck because there is a huge mix up between the McArthurs and the Kennedys (in my line), so I will watch the replies carefully.

Well hello, I just found this group and as it appears this thread is a roll call, I will add my quest.
I am tracing the McArthur’s from Islay, particularly those sailing with Capt. Laughlin Campbell

Larachaluil is clearly shown on the Ordnance Survey 1878 survey (old).
I've attached the modern aerial view which appears to show the walls of the buildings but no roofs.
