Thanks for your response. Most folk on the original list found the spreadsheet data useful for identifying and communicating with others on the list who were researching their family names.

I am not aware of a connection to these people although the lines probably cross somewhere. Interestingly though, my maternal grandmother was a McNabb whose people came to Oro County from Islay
