I have not been able to pin down your Duncan in the Scottish census records, are you able to tell me where he was in the 1851 census.

Roll Call - McDougall
Hi Folks - Thank you for welcoming me into your group. My Great Grandfather was Duncan McDougall B April 1837 in Port Ellen, Islay. Died in Nelson, BC in 1907. His father was also Duncan McDougall.

Larrachaluil, the Oa (spelling?)
Interested in "Larrachaluil" (spelling uncertain).
Located in the Oa, midway between Lurabus and Ballichatrigan.
Found it mapped in Bartholemew's 1895 Atlas.
Wonder whether anyone may know of this
