I wonder if this is my ancestor James CURRIE on Ardruah farm. We haven’t found James (possibly a weaver) and his wife Lizzie (surname may be LYNCH). Their son Archibald was born about 1839, and a possible daughter, Mary, born about 1841, both on Islay.
