My GGrandmother was a Mary McARTHUR born at Ballanaly, Kilchoman in 1845 – She married Malcolm McFADYEN 1870 in Glasgow.

I keep a large database of Islay folk, amongst others I have been researching  – I am descended Carmichael,   Beaton, Taylor, McFadyen, McArthur, McIntyre, McLachlan, McDonnel etc. all from Islay.
